Sticky - plug-in that runs on jQuery, lets you scroll down to fix any elements, be it pictures or text, and of course to handle their styles.

A similar effect can be achieved using CSS, using the setting position: fixed ... but not quite :-).
Does it need not be, not going to argue, but in the arsenal at this script leave. Especially since it is based on the script done a lot of interesting things.
